WHAT IS PAELLA?
Paella is a rice dish made with saffron, vegetables, and proteins combined to slow cook in a shallow iron pan. The juices from the proteins and vegetables mix with the saffron during the cooking process which is then absorbed by the rice giving the overall dish a wonderful exotic flavor.

Our paella is unique because the owners of Blue Iguana bring back key paella ingredients from Mexico. When you try our paella, you are getting a true taste of Mexico prepared by chefs who have had paella in their families for generations.

Currently we offer 2 different kinds of paella.
MEAT AND SEAFOOD
Our Meat and Seafood Paella is saffron rice topped off with pork, chicken, Spanish sausage, and seafood.
Our Veggie Paella is saffron rice topped off with mixed veggies.
HOW TO ORDER PAELLA
Both paellas can be found on our menu. Currently paella is available only at our Salt Lake City location which we’ll have on-hand on Sundays. Paella can be special ordered Monday through Saturday in Salt Lake City by calling ahead. Coming soon to our park City location.
