Celebrate Valentine’s Day 2016 and Dia del Amor at Blue Iguana

Valentine’s Day is right around the corner and with that, thoughts of love and adoration float through the air. For our single friends, though, the very mention of the day can elicit groans and eye rolling.

Here at Blue Iguana, we celebrate El Dia del Amor y la Amistad, held the same day as Valentine’s and in fact a variation of the V-day first started in Roman Catholic times. But Dia del Amor is more than the ooey gooey romantic kind of love and that’s why we love it so much (no pun intended).

Dia del Amor is a day to celebrate love and friendship. Chocolate roses and candy hearts are still appreciated, but gatherings of loved ones romantic and otherwise are also part of the fun.

A long weekend too!

Bonus: because it’s President’s Day on Monday, it’s an extra long weekend notorious for powder play here in Utah.  So gather your loved ones: romantic, ski lovers, good friends, whatever loves you’ve got, and celebrate your own way at Blue Iguana over Valentine’s Weekend.

What to expect

Whether you dine with us in Salt Lake City or slopeside in Park City, Blue Iguana is the place to celebrate love this holiday weekend.

Please be advised this is a busy weekend in downtown (being headquarters for the Western Hunting Expo as well) and Park City, Dia del Amor celebration and specials will last all weekend including President’s Day Monday – plenty of options!
